The Fourth of July commemorates the separation of the 13 original American colonies from the British monarchy. Each year, Independence Day is jam-packed with summer activities that are fun for the whole family. Location: Jacob Hoffner Park – 4104 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH
Watch Jacob Hoffner Park transform into a festive beer garden where people enjoy watching firebreathers, live bands, and fireworks.
Location: Coney Island – 6201 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45230
Head over to Coney Island and get up close with dazzling hot-air balloons lighting up against the night sky followed by a spectacular fireworks grand finale.
Enjoy all of Coney Island’s favorites like Sunlite Pool, Cannonball Cove, and Twister. PLUS, challenge yourself on the inflatable obstacle course, the Challenge Zone!
Location: Montgomery Park – 10101 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242
The day starts with a parade at 10 AM, followed by a celebration until 2 PM.
The parade route runs east along Cooper Road from the Junior High to Montgomery Road and then north to Schoolhouse Lane. Stick around for food, entertainment, and family fun!
Location: Nisbet Park – 126 Karl Brown Way, Loveland, OH 45140
This Independence Day Celebration event will feature a parade (7 PM), live music from Color Blind at Nisbet Park Amphitheater (8-10 PM), kid zone (4-6:30 PM), food trucks (4-10 PM), and fireworks at 10 PM.
Location: Summit Park – 4335 Glendale Milford Rd, Blue Ash, OH 45242
Live music returns for Red, White, and Blue Ash. 2022 artists include multi-platinum artist Gavin DeGraw (8:15 PM) and Blessid Union of Souls (6 PM).
The night sky (and the Observation Tower) will light up with the region’s biggest and best fireworks show from Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnics starting at 10 PM!
Fourth Fest runs from 6-10 PM. They’ll have food trucks, inflatables, a DJ, and more. The fireworks start at 10 PM.
Join in on the festivities in Ault Park for a day filled with family fun and an evening celebrating freedom and our Founding Fathers. There will be food trucks, kids’ activities, and live music throughout the day!
The children’s parade and programs start at 11 AM. The evening program starts at 6 PM and includes live music and fireworks (10 PM).
Come through for the 2022 Famous Rozzi’s Fireworks at Shea Stadium.
The parade begins at 10am and will line up on Oak Avenue, before going west on Wyoming Avenue, north on Springfield Pike, east on Wentworth Avenue, south on Burns Avenue, and then east on Wyoming Ave.
Awards and live music to follow at the Village Green gazebo on Wyoming Avenue. Head to Oak Park for inflatable slides, bounces, games, and food starting at 5:30 PM. Live music starts at 6:30 PM. Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks start at 9:45 PM.
The score will be simulcast on WARM 98.5. In addition to the music and fireworks, they’ll have family-fun festival rides, local food vendors, drinks, live character performances, and more.

Pittsburgh’s Point State Park is the place to be this coming fourth of July. The city’s Independence Day celebration lasts from 4–10 PM at the Point.
